1. Service
HostGOAT provides website hosting and related management features. Available technologies, limits, storage, databases, mailboxes, backup features, and optional add-ons depend on the selected plan and the current product offering.
2. Accounts and Security
Customers are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials, API keys, domain-provider accounts, and content uploaded to HostGOAT. Customers should use secure passwords and protect credentials from unauthorized access.
3. Billing and Plan Limits
Starter, Pro, and Business plans are offered with published monthly prices and capacity limits. Add-on pricing, custom environments, and future self-hosted licensing may be offered separately. Final billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund language should be inserted before publication.
4. Customer Data
Customers retain responsibility for the files and content they place in their hosting environment. HostGOAT administrators may require access to customer files for legitimate system administration, troubleshooting, maintenance, or support. HostGOAT should not be represented as zero-knowledge hosting.
5. Availability and Beta Service
HostGOAT is currently in beta. No production uptime guarantee should be inferred from the beta environment. Any future service-level commitment should be stated separately when production infrastructure and support terms are finalized.
6. Suspension and Termination
Accounts may be suspended or terminated for nonpayment, material security risk, unlawful activity, abuse of infrastructure, or violations of the Acceptable Use Policy. Final notice and appeal procedures should be defined before publication.
7. Changes to These Terms
HostGOAT may update these terms as the service evolves. The final version should identify an effective date, method of notice, governing law, company contact information, and any jurisdiction-specific provisions required by counsel.
