The exact workflow can vary by project, but the basic HostGOAT path is straightforward.
Create or upload your project
Use the browser file manager, SFTP, or Nancy AI.
Create any required databases
Set up the database resources your application needs.
Connect your domain
Update the DNS records at your registrar or DNS provider.
Confirm SSL and launch
Nginx Proxy Manager obtains and maintains the Let's Encrypt certificate.

Quick answers
Can HostGOAT migrate my existing website?
You can move an existing site yourself using the browser file manager or SFTP and recreate any required databases. A staffed migration service is not currently advertised.
Can HostGOAT register my domain?
No. Domains currently remain with another registrar or DNS provider and are pointed to HostGOAT.
Can I restore my own backups?
Yes. Every tier can restore any successful backup available to the account.
Does HostGOAT offer SSH?
Customer SSH shell access is not currently offered. SFTP is the supported secure file-transfer mechanism.
Can Nancy see another customer's files?
Nancy is designed to remain scoped to the current tenant and not access other users' data.
Is there a formal uptime SLA?
Not during the current beta stage. A production infrastructure move and approximately 99% uptime target are planned.
Is support available 24/7?
HostGOAT does not currently publish a 24/7 support commitment or guaranteed response time during beta.
